Cher

Cher nous revient enfin, la surprise est son mot d'ordre. On la croyait à la retraite depuis la fin de sa tournée d'adieu en 2005, mais il n'en est a priori aucunement le cas!

Tout (re)commence le 10 février 2008 par une apparition de Cher aux 50èmes Grammy Awards. Elle présente son amie de longue date, Tina Turner, en duo avec Beyonce. S'en suivent une série d'apparitions dans divers émitions télé américaines qui confirment une rumeur qui circule: Cher va entamer son come-back dès le 6 Mai 2008 avec une série de dates au Caesar's Palace de Las Vegas. Puis sortira un nouvel album en Novembre. On attend ça avec impatience!

Elle y est enfin! Avant-hier, le 6 mai, elle déchainait le public du Caesar's Palace où elle reprenait ses plus grands standards pour le plus grans plaisir de ses fans et des autres!
Le programme des chansons semble être a priori le meme que celui du Farewell Tour. On y trouve entre autres:

- After All
- Take Me Home
- The Way of Love
- All I Really Wanna Do
- Turn Back Time
-... Et l'incontournable Believe bien-sûr!

Côté costumes, avec toujours aux manettes et à l'aiguille Bob Mackie, on a de la nouveauté, parmi quelques "remakes": certains outfits sont repris de shows pécédents comme celui d'After All repris de l'Extravaganza, celui de Take Me Home repris du Farewell Tour qui reprenait lui-même celui du Believe Tour, ou encore celui de Turn Back Time, qui repranait celui du Farewell Tour, lui-même reprenant celui de l'Extravaganza. Pour les nouveaux costumes on a, parmi d'autres, ceux des morceaux All I Really Want To Do, Half Breed, The Wat Of Love, sans oublier bien sur LE MORCEAU pour lequel il fallait impérativement un nouvel outfit: Believe

Et enfin côté scène et mise en scène, rien a envier aux costumes car d'après les photos les décors sont tous simplement splendides: par exemple pour After All, Cher apparait dans son costume en fourrure (fausse je précise!) sur une gondole dans un décor digne de Venise dans une nuit étoilée, et pour The Way Of Love, elle apparait dans son sublime nouveau costume dans un podium surmonté d'une magnifique boule, donnant l'impression d'une bulle majestueuse.
